Technical Services

The Technical Services Department establishes and maintains bibliographic control over collection of information resources. The Department is responsible for the cataloging, classification and final processing of books received by the Acquisition Department. Catalogers create catalog records and authority records for subjects, authors, corporate bodies and series for monographs. Library collections are cataloged following the latest international versions of the Cataloging Rules (AACR2) and Subject Headings.
